My questions are: 1.) With the USB VID changed can the OEM Hantek drivers still be used? Since OpenHantek6022 changed the USB VID to 0x04B5 by ( from VID 0x04B4) 2.) Do I need to get rid of the Hantek OEM SW and USB drivers and use Zadig ( ) to install generic USB drivers for OpenHantek6022 to work? Why is this the case? 3.) Will the stock OEM Hantek SW still work with the Zagdig USB drivers and with the USB VID changed the USB VID to 0x04B5? Sorry if this has been covered in other posts.
The PID of the DSO-6022BE/BL doesn't change. (ie: DSO-6022BE: VID 0x04B4 PID 0圆022 ) If a scope is found, the firmware will be uploaded and changes the VID to 0x04B5. While reading I came across this paragraph in the manual: After starting the program, it searches for a supported device by checking the USB VID/PID of all connected USB devices. I started by reading the excellent User Manual ( which IMO is better than the OEM manual). IMO it has the best user interface that I have seen so far.
